What is HEIC and Why Can't I Open It?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple's image format used on iPhones since iOS 11. It produces photos that are 50% smaller than JPG while maintaining equal or better quality. The problem? Most non-Apple software and websites don't support it yet:
