Overview

Prepare a speech recording or music track for review with AI Audio Enhancer. Choose Speech / Voice or Music, select a mode that fits your task, and process one supported audio file for a WAV result. Listen to the result alongside your original before deciding what to keep. This tool runs online and requires sign-in and an internet connection.

The configured task depends on the audio type: the tool is set up for speech denoising or music mastering. Choose Audio Type and Mode in the workspace, then compare the processed WAV with the original to decide whether the result suits your needs. A louder or smoother result isn't necessarily a more faithful recording.

When to use

  • Choose Speech / Voice for an interview, voice note, or other spoken recording. Select Remove Noise for a speech-denoising task, or try Enhance Clarity when working on speech clarity. Compare the processed WAV with the original, especially around quiet words and overlapping voices.
  • Choose Music for a music track. The configured task depends on the selected audio type, so listen to the instruments and their balance in the result instead of assuming speech-focused choices suit music.

How to use

  1. Open AI Audio Enhancer and sign in to its online workspace.

  2. Upload one audio file, up to 100 MB, in .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .flac, .m4a, or .aac format. Set Audio Type to Speech / Voice for spoken audio or Music for a track. For speech, choose Mode: Remove Noise for denoising or Enhance Clarity when working on speech clarity. Start with the defaults. If available, the other controls include Processing Mode (Balanced, High Quality, or Fast), Quality (32–128 in steps of 16; default 32), and Noise Reduction Strength (0–1 in steps of 0.1; default 0.5). Change settings only when you have a specific reason, and review the workspace’s visible controls and restrictions before continuing. The declared file extensions do not establish codec or bit-depth support.

  3. Use the workspace action to process the selected settings. Listen to relevant passages and compare them with the original at a similar volume: check quiet words, pauses, and overlapping voices for speech, or listen to the instruments and their balance for music. If words disappear or a voice sounds unnatural, keep the original and reconsider the settings before another run. Download the WAV result when offered and verify the downloaded file before using it.

Examples & use cases

A podcaster preparing a spoken interview for review.

Review a noisy interview

A 20-minute interview has steady background noise. You want to assess a processed copy without overlooking quiet words or overlapping speakers.

.wav to WAV

Audio Type:
speech
Mode:
denoise
  1. Set Audio Type to Speech / Voice because the recording is spoken audio.
  2. Choose Mode: Remove Noise for the speech-denoising task, and begin with the defaults rather than changing controls without a specific reason.
  3. Compare the result and original at a similar volume, listening closely to quiet words and overlapping passages.

Expected outcome

A processed WAV recording to review alongside the source. Check whether the speech passages you need remain understandable before choosing which version to use.

A team member preparing a short spoken voice note for colleagues.

Check clarity on a voice note

An M4A voice note sounds unclear in places. You want a processed copy to compare with the original before sharing it.

.m4a to WAV

Audio Type:
speech
Mode:
enhance
  1. Set Audio Type to Speech / Voice because the source is spoken audio.
  2. Try Mode: Enhance Clarity for the speech-clarity task, keeping the original available for comparison.
  3. Listen to the unclear sections, quiet words, and breaths in both versions at a similar volume.

Expected outcome

A processed WAV copy to assess before sharing. Check whether the unclear parts remain understandable and whether the result sounds suitable for your purpose.

A musician reviewing a recorded track.

Compare a music track

You have a FLAC music recording and want a processed copy to compare with the source. The instruments and their balance matter, so you do not want to assume speech-focused choices suit this track.

.flac to WAV

Audio Type:
music
  1. Set Audio Type to Music because the input is a music track and the configured task depends on audio type.
  2. Keep the original for comparison rather than assuming speech-focused choices are appropriate for the instruments.
  3. Listen to the instruments and their balance in the processed copy, then decide whether it suits your intended use.

Expected outcome

A processed WAV music track to compare with the original. Listen to the parts that matter for your use before deciding which version to keep.

More ways to use it

  • An interviewer preparing a recording for review.: The source is an interview, and you want to configure the task for speech rather than music. A speech-configured processing run and a WAV result to review against the original. Audio Type: speech.
  • A musician preparing a track for a listening comparison.: The source is music. You need to select the music audio type and assess the instruments in the processed result. A music-configured processing run and a WAV result to compare with the source. Audio Type: music.

Troubleshooting

A music track was set up with the speech audio type.

Try this: Choose Music for the track before processing.

What to expect: The selected audio type configures the task for music rather than speech. The WAV result is available to review for the instruments and their balance.

You want to address background noise in a spoken recording, but a different mode is selected.

Try this: For a spoken recording, set Audio Type to Speech / Voice and Mode to Remove Noise.

What to expect: The selected configuration is for speech denoising. Compare the result with the original, paying particular attention to quiet words and pauses.

Frequently asked questions

What does an audio enhancer do here?

AI Audio Enhancer is configured for speech denoising or music mastering, depending on the selected audio type. It produces a WAV result; listen to it alongside the original to decide whether it suits your needs.

What audio formats can I upload?

The declared input formats are .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .flac, .m4a, and .aac. Those extensions do not establish codec or bit-depth support, so check the workspace’s visible restrictions before continuing.

Can I upload a video or enhance audio embedded in one?

No. This workspace accepts audio files, not video files. Extract the audio from the video first, then provide it in one of the accepted audio formats.

Will the download stay in MP3 format?

No. The configured output is WAV, even when you upload an MP3.

How should I choose settings for a voice recording?

Set Audio Type to Speech / Voice. Choose Remove Noise for a speech-denoising task, or try Enhance Clarity when working on speech clarity. Compare the processed WAV with the original, especially around quiet words and breaths.

Can I use the audio enhancer for music?

Yes. Set Audio Type to Music for a music track. Keep the original for comparison and listen to the instruments and their balance in the processed WAV result.

Can I change the settings?

The registered controls include Audio Type, Mode, Processing Mode, Quality, and Noise Reduction Strength; availability may depend on the active workspace. Start with the defaults: Balanced for Processing Mode, 32 for Quality, and 0.5 for Noise Reduction Strength. Quality ranges from 32 to 128 in steps of 16, and Noise Reduction Strength ranges from 0 to 1 in steps of 0.1. Change a setting only when you have a specific problem to address.

What should I do if the enhanced voice sounds unnatural?

Keep the original and compare it with the processed copy, especially around quiet words and breaths. Strong cleanup can remove speech detail along with noise, and enhancement cannot reliably recover speech that was never captured clearly. Reconsider the available settings only if you have a specific change in mind, then listen to both versions before choosing which is easier to understand.

Does this tool remove echo or reverb?

No dedicated echo or reverb control is listed. The Mode options are Remove Noise and Enhance Clarity; if you process a recording with echo, listen to the result rather than assuming the echo will be removed.

How many files can I process, and what is the file-size limit?

The configured workflow accepts one file, up to 100 MB. Accepted formats are .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .flac, .m4a, and .aac; check the workspace’s visible restrictions before continuing.

Does this workflow process audio online, or can I use it locally?

This tool runs online and requires sign-in and an internet connection. Review the access and processing charge shown in the workspace before starting.

How are uploaded recordings handled?

Online processing uploads files. Completed results may remain available for later download. See https://mioffice.ai/privacy for current file-handling and retention details. Check the processing mode before starting.

Can I use this as a real-time enhancer for video calls?

This workflow processes an uploaded audio file in the workspace; a real-time video-call feature is not listed. For an uploaded recording, choose the matching Audio Type and review the WAV result.

Can I upload a video here?

No. This workspace accepts audio files. Extract the audio from your video first.
