How It Works

  1. Step 1. Select jpeg before converting
  2. Step 2. Convert and download

Select jpeg before converting

Add JPEG, JPG, PNG, or WebP images. Up to 50 files, each no larger than 50 MB. Set Convert To to jpeg before you continue. This page starts with png selected, so leaving that setting unchanged produces a PNG.

Convert and download

Click Convert, then download your JPG. If you added several images, use the batch download control to save the results together.

Open a saved copy and check its dimensions, fine detail and background. The tool re-encodes your image, and large images may be resized during processing. Keep the original if you need its existing resolution or encoding.

Questions about JPEG to JPG

No. JPG does not retain transparency. Inspect the saved background; choose png in Convert To if you need to keep transparent areas.

No. You can choose Convert To, but this page has no quality slider. Open Compress Image when you need to choose a quality setting.

If only the filename extension is the problem, renaming .jpeg to .jpg avoids re-encoding the picture. Use conversion when you also need to change image settings. This tool uses the image-conversion workflow, so do not assume its output is a byte-for-byte rename.
