How It Works

  1. Step 1. Choose a Rotation setting
  2. Step 2. Process a sample before a batch

Choose a Rotation setting

Add JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF files. You can select up to 50 images, each up to 50 MB. Use still images for this workflow; animation is not preserved.

Rotation labelChange
90Turn clockwise by a quarter-turn.
180Turn upside down.
270Turn counterclockwise by a quarter-turn.
FlipHMirror left to right.
FlipVReflect top to bottom.

Start with 90 for a clockwise turn, or choose the setting that matches your photo. Every image in the batch gets the same change, so keep differently oriented photos in separate batches.

Process a sample before a batch

Set Rotation, then click Rotate. Try one photo first if you’re unsure which way it needs to turn.

A 90 or 270 rotation can clip the edges of a rectangular image during on-device processing. Inspect all four edges of the result. If anything is missing, keep the original and do not use that export.

Open the downloaded copy in the app where you’ll use it. Check the direction and the full frame, including any text near the edges. After reviewing a batch, use Download All to save the results.

Questions about rotating images

No. Rotation offers 90, 180, 270 and the two flip options.

Not always. The result may be a PNG even if you uploaded another format. Keep your original if its format or animation matters.
