Make a text-based PDF from an EPUB

How It Works

  1. Step 1. Choose the layout
  2. Step 2. Check the converted book

Choose the layout

Choose up to 10 EPUB files, each up to 100 MB. Start with a book that makes sense without its pictures, such as a text-focused reading copy.

In Page Size, choose a4, letter or a5 to match how you plan to read or print the PDF. The default is a4.

Set Margins to narrow, normal or wide. The default is normal. Wider margins leave less room for text on each page.

Check the converted book

Click Convert, then download each PDF or use Download All. With Auto-download enabled, the tool attempts to save the results shortly after processing.

Keep the EPUB open while you check the saved PDF. Look at the beginning and end of each expected chapter, then check special characters and any blank pages.

Don’t treat a completed conversion as proof that every chapter is present. A chapter can be skipped. If you find missing or unreadable text, keep the EPUB and use another export method before sharing.

Questions about EPUB to PDF

No. This tool builds a PDF from chapter text. It does not preserve embedded pictures or reproduce the original fonts and page design.

EPUB content can reflow to fit a reader's screen and font settings. PDF uses fixed pages, so conversion must introduce page breaks. Check chapter starts, images, and long paragraphs in the downloaded PDF before printing or sharing it.
