A guest task may be available for eligible files. Sign in when prompted; further access depends on your account’s allowance, plan or credits. Check the access shown before processing.

Check that every page needs the same turn before you start. There’s no individual-page selection.

How It Works

  1. Step 1. Choose the rotation
  2. Step 2. Save and inspect

Choose the rotation

Choose one PDF, up to 100 MB. Use Preview input to check which way its pages are facing.

Choose Rotation under Options. It starts at 90; the value you select adds a turn to each page’s current orientation.

Rotation valueTurn applied to every page
90A quarter turn clockwise
180A half turn, useful for upside-down pages
270A quarter turn counterclockwise

For example, choose 180 when every page in a scan is upside down. Any pages that were already upright will turn as well.

Save and inspect

Click Rotate, then Download. With Auto-download enabled, the download may start five seconds after processing finishes.

Open the saved PDF before sending it. Check every page’s orientation and edges, along with any forms or annotations you need. Keep the original if you want to try another angle.

Questions about rotating PDFs

No. You can choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees, but there’s no small-angle adjustment for a tilted scan.

No. Unlock the document first, then open the unlocked copy in Rotate PDF.

Some viewers change only the current display orientation. Use a rotation operation that saves the page orientation, then reopen the downloaded PDF to check it. Inspect each affected page rather than relying on the editing preview alone.
